Tavelli Learning Garden

Our Learning Garden is a vibrant, hands-on outdoor space where students experience the joys of gardening, discover fresh fruits and vegetables, and connect with nature. This inclusive environment helps students develop a sense of stewardship, curiosity, and an appreciation for the natural world.

Educational activities include learning about pollinators, understanding ecosystems, and exploring plant growth.

Thanks to our 2022/2023 4th-grade students, you can learn more about the importance of bees! This year, our 4th graders focused on the alarming decline in bee populations, especially in Colorado. They studied bees’ vital role in food production and ecosystems and shared their findings through a dedicated website.
